AHEC, IIT Roorke Laboratory Complex

The "Alternate Hydro Energy Centre(AHEC)" of IIT Roorkee is coming up with a Turbine testing laboratory facility. It is a vision of the institute management that the upcoming building shall achieve best standards in energy efficiency. Thus AHEC, IIT Roorkee has engaged TERI to provided the energy consultancy for the upcoming complex.

Management of Post Consumer Tetra Pak Cartons (PCCs)

The Tetra Pak carton is primarily made up of Paper (75% by weight) and the rest is polyethylene-aluminium (25%). As part of environment initiatives, Tetra Pak has undertaken various activities for collection and recycling of these Post Consumer Tetra Pak Cartons (PCCs) and is working with various NGO's and the waste picker workforce to segregate PCCs.
