Malbhog is a medium tall, most preferred indigenous table banana variety (AAB genomic group) of Assam that bears fruit in 18 months, yields about 8-9 kg per bunch and is prone to disease infestation and pest attack. Banana bunchy top virus has threatened banana propagation, field production and germplasm conservation.
The consultancy project proposes to assess the present and future environmental issues in the building industry, specifically with respect to urban development in Greater Hyderabad and propose guidelines for environmental sustainable building design, construction and operation especially for Greater Hyderabad.
A major portion of energy is consumed in the SMiE sector to meet the low-grade thermal energy requirements such as water heating, steam generation and hot air generation. Reducing the consumption of fossil fuels and efficient utilization of locally available biomass are priorities of the Government of India.
TERI in partnership with Centre of Environmental health CoEH, LNJP hospital New Delhi is carrying out assessment of health of workers involved in e waste collection dismantling, breaking and extraction material in NCR Delhi.
The main objectives of this project are as follows. (1) To act as a catalyst in bringing to the forefront the ethical, moral, economic and political underpinnings of the international problem of climate change. The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, (UNDESA), New York, is supporting a project titled as `Planning for the development of Science and Technology Parks? in Ghana and Senegal, as both the countries are interested in growth of Science and Technology and also in the area of Agro-processing/Food processing research and certification systems.
In the proposed project, two aspects shall be dealt with in detail. Firstly, a protocol for plant regeneration from anther and isolated microspore culture of various genotypes in sesame shall be optimized.
The primary objective of this task would be to concentrate on product development and customization for innovative Renewable Energy applications Task I: Establishment of fully operational laboratory for designing, developing, fine-tuning and testing activities for various electronic control interfaces Task-II: Design, develop and fine-tune of customized RE based product
The project is a collaborative study by TERI and UNIDO. The objective of the project is to study SME sector in India and identify the potential renewable energy technologies for industrial applications with reference to the SME sector in India and organize an Expert Group Meeting (a two day event to be held in Delhi during 18-19th December 2007) to discuss the main issues and findings.
The study is aimed to estimate voltage wise total and disaggregated distribution losses of NPCL network at 33kV and below voltage level corresponding to peak load conditions (2006-07)
