The objective of the project is to ensure supply of safe water in all villages under the project. To accomplish this it was necessary to ensure continuous monitoring of water quality. This can be met through the following objectives:
The project aims at promoting wind power by (a) quantifying the benefits associated with wind power vis -a vis implications of the conventional electricity and (b) sensitising the regulators and other relevant decision makers (both the state/regional and central levels) about the benefits of mainstreaming the wind power The main activities contributing to development of overall plan of action 1
The main objectives of the project are (1) development of micropropagation protocols for newly identified priority species; (2) refinement, up-scaling, and evaluation of the process using bench-level protocols developed at other research institutes and universities; (3) germplasm preservation; (4) national facility for socio economic development for the resource-poor farmers/entrepreneurs; (5) ins
The objective is to understand the nature and mechanism of membrane fouling during the ultrafiltration of multi-component feed streams. This would form the basis for the design of low fouling polymeric membranes capable of withstanding variations in feed composition including shock loads of foulants.
