To address the persistent malnutrition and livelihood challenges in the ST communities of Mokhada, two training sessions on Oyster Mushroom and Azolla cultivation were organized as part of the DST-funded project "Innovative Interventions in Mokhada Block of Palghar District to Combat Malnutrition and Enhance Livelihoods of ST Communities." Held on March 3rd and 4th, 2025, at Burangewadi and Pawarpada respectively, the workshops were led by Mr. Manish Asodekar and Dr. Ninad Marathe, engaging 42 tribal women in hands-on learning.
