Pre Feasibility study for Solar PV plants in different states
May 3, 2010 to
November 15, 2010
The potential area identification is first and most important criterion for the success of any solar project. One of the clients is interested to put grid connected Solar PV plant (MW scale) of various capacities in different states. For this, broad solar radiation resource assessment is required to have go/no go decision. Second important thing is to analyze available center and different state level policies. In this project, potential areas (district level) were identified based on the solar radiation resource assessment in the selected states.
Non-energy use and CO2 emission - Phase III
October 15, 2004 to
November 5, 2010
The objectives are to (1) pool and analyse information on materials with completed pathways for production, use, and waste management such as solvents and lubricants; (2) draw conclusions about recommended activity indicators and emission factors based on comparative analyses; (3) create an increased awareness of the need for the harmonization of definitions of non-energy use in energy balances.TERI-ITEC training program on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, 2008-09
August 1, 2008 to
November 3, 2010
This programme is one of the five courses being offered by TERI under the ITEC (Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation programme) /Special Commonwealth Assistance for Africa Programme (SCAAP) of the Government of India. This course, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, will be held from 05 to 23 January 2009 for about 30 participants. The course aims to develop an understanding of existing and emerging renewable energy technologies, energy conservation and efficiency improvement techniques across various sectors.Warming in the North East: developing adaptation strategies
March 10, 2008 to
November 2, 2010
The objective of the study is to undertake integrated impacts, vulnerability, and adaptation assessment of environmental degradation and climate change with respect to the water resources, forests, and livelihoods in the NER (north-eastern region) of India.
