State of the Planet conference 2010- New Delhi

The India part of the sixth  State of the Planet conference will be hosted by TERI, on March 25, 2010 at the  Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi from 4.30 PM to 8:30 PM. The theme for the  session is "What is the basis of the Global Climate deal?". The  deliberations from this session will be fed into the session on "CLIMATE  CHANGE: What Would It Take to Complete the Climate Deal?" via live  satellite link.

 The conference is based at the Earth Institute, which has made significant  advances in forwarding the research and education needed to address the
 issues of sustainable development. Columbia University will be the central  point for the event, and then partner sites (TERI, New Delhi from India,  London, Beijing and Nairobi) will receive live feeds. The conference will  also be relayed live at various other sites like Amman, Cairo, Ibadan,  Nigeria, Melbourne, Nairobi, Paris, Seoul, Sao Paulo, Stockholm, Tokyo.
