Renewable Energy Chapter of UNEP's Green Economy Report

The objective for the 'Renewable Energy' chapter in the Green Economy Report is to be able to offer a perspective, through in-depth economic analysis of the opportunities that are associated with a green and sustainable economy. This exercise includes creating a global inventory of the current re-newable energy portfolio and energy mix,and use macroeconomic indicators such as energy security, sustainable development and environmental impacts to create a platform that will be the basis to quantify the opportunities associated with certain growth scenarios for renewable energy.
