Environmental Education through Activity Based Education
The overarching objective of this Assignment is to educate and train school-teachers and trainers in topics related to Environment and Environment-Management, in a manner that will enable them to teach this subject to the students better.
It is proposed to address this by adopting the "Training of Trainers" (TOT) model. Training modules will be designed to equip Environment-Education (EE) teachers with resource material and skill-sets .
The project targets teachers of the State board schools in Mumbai Metropolitan Region. A cross-section of secondary schools consisting of municipal schools as well as private schools will be covered.
