Designing and Implementing Solar Energy based Livelihood Projects for Rural Communities (DISLP)

TERI is empanelled by the ITEC (Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation)/SCAAP (Special Commonwealth African Assistance Programme), Government of India, for conducting this programme. DISLP course is being offered under this programme for the year 2010/11. The Course aims to build the capacity of organizations and individuals from developing countries, enabling them to apply the enhanced knowledge and skills in large-scale generation of sustainable livelihoods utilizing solar PV technology. The Course is designed to meet the needs of early/mid-career government and non governmental officials. In addition to the class room sessions and group exercises at the TERI premises, study tours will cement learning with concrete experiences from the field. Time has also been set aside for visit to one of India¿s national treasures: the Taj Mahal.
