Mr Mukesh Yadav working as Production Manager and Area Convenor for Bioremediation Technology at The Energy and Resources Institute. He holds an M. Tech and a B. Tech in Chemical Engineering. He brings extensive expertise across various engineering disciplines, including bioprocess, chemical, and food processing, as well as experience in the erection, fabrication, and commissioning of industrial-scale plants. He is also in-charge of the Fermentation Technology Research Center at TERI Gram.
Mr Yadav’s primary responsibility at TERI involves overseeing the production of the patented product, Oilzapper, which is used for the bioremediation of petroleum sludge and crude oil-contaminated land. He is also tasked with conducting research to scale up newly developed microbial cultures and products to pilot-scale (1 KL) and industrial-scale (13 KL) bioreactors. His innovations have led to significant cost reductions in Oilzapper production, including fuel and electricity savings and lower raw material costs.
