Mr Deepak Singh Rana is engaged with the Sustainable Infrastructure Programme of The Energy and Resources Institute as an Associate Fellow. He is also the Area Convenor of the Sustainable Buildings Division.
He has been instrumental in conducting various commercial energy audits across the country. He has technically contributed to impactful projects like providing Sustainable Space Heating Solutions in the Himalayan Region, standardizing the health-energy nexus in Punjab, developing retrofit manuals for existing buildings in India, and many training and capacity-building initiatives undertaken by the organization, including the Standard and Labelling program conducted for the Bureau of Energy Efficiency.
As an area of personal interest, he holds a keen inclination towards the application of energy-efficient lighting and smart instrumentation in buildings. With his background in electronics and communications engineering, his experience in the field spans more than 9 years.
