Ms Anjali Sachdev has over 15 years of experience in banking, finance, education, and analytics. After a successful corporate career, she transitioned to the development sector, driven by a strong commitment to fostering sustainability, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Her work focuses on creating meaningful societal impact through innovative strategies that align with legal and ethical standards.
Before joining TERI, she held key positions at American Express India Pvt Ltd, TMF India, The Federal Bank Ltd, and Genpact, specializing in budgeting, financial analysis, reporting, operations, stakeholder management, and CSR compliance.
Anjali holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) from Sri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, and is a qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAI. She has also completed the final groups I & II of the Company Secretary program from ICSI. Her professional certifications include Business Responsibility & Sustainability Reporting (ICAI), Six Sigma Green Belt, Corporate Social Responsibility: Its Applied Aspects (HCL Foundation), and Education & Public Policy (Centre for Civil Society).
