A low-cost improved cookstove being installed at a tea estate in Dibrugarh, Assam. TERI deploys energy-efficient technologies and alternative fuel for clean cooking in select districts of Assam. Supported by GIZ India, the Forestry NAMA initiative aims to enhance carbon sequestration and to reduce pressure on forests from the unsustainable collection of fuelwood.
