While discussing the innovation ecosystem, it would also be
prudent to look at how science and technology is being perceived in
contributing to the nation’s growth in the various vision documents of
the government.
Vision 2020 plan proposed by Late Dr APJ Abdul Kalam identifies
five areas to make India a developed country by the year 2020, viz.,
agriculture and food processing, infrastructure with reliable electric
