Impact of Climate Change on Indian Businesses

The 4 Assessment Report of IPCC has conclusively said that climate is changing due to anthropogenic activities. Where as there are many studies on impact on humans and environment, the impact on the business sector and economy is restricted mainly to the study of deterioration of agriculture and resulting decline of GDP. The TERI?BCSD study will take a look at what climate change holds for Indian industries, the challenges, threats, opportunities, barriers, and scope for partnership among different stakeholders. The study hopes to bring clarity on how to adapt businesses to changing climate without affecting the bottom line.
