Energy audit of thermal power stations of the Punjab State Electricity Board

The Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB) is operating three thermal power stations, namely Guru Nanak Dev Thermal Plant, Bhatinda (4x110 MW), Guru Hargobind Thermal Power Plant, Lehra Mohabbat (2x210 MW), and Guru Gobind Singh Super Thermal Plant, Ropar (6x210 MW). The energy audit of boilers, turbo generators and their auxiliaries of all running units of all these three thermal power generating stations have been entrusted to TERI to evaluate the performance of the systems, to identify energy saving potentials and to conduct training programme on energy conservation to the staff members of these three power generating stations.
