TERI and Tetra Pack jointly organized a series of competitions for schools on sustainable lifestyles. What stole the show was a unique painting competition where the young participants had to paint on white canvas shoes instead of the canvas boards. The idea, which was part of the TRASH Festival organized to sensitize children on waste management and recycling, was not to throw the shoes after they wear out but to conserve them for future use by adorning them with colourful painting.
