Job Profile

Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate in the area of nano-bio technology to work with a dynamic group of researchers at TERI, India and DeakinUniversity, Australia. The applicant would be working primarily on synthesis of nanomaterials upto pilot scale followed by thorough characterization and eco-toxicity assessment. Workingknowledge about biogenic and green chemistry is desired
Prior experience in synthesis of nanomaterials. Experience in large/pilot scale synthesiswould be an added advantage.2. Sound knowledge in safety and eco-toxicity assessment of nanomaterials3. Hands on experience in data collection and characterization of nanomaterials usingcommon techniques, such as DLS, FTIR, UV-Vis, XRD, BET, XRF, and TGA4. Data analysis, presentation & report generation under the guidance of supervisors fromTERI and Deakin University5. Follow strict project guidelines as per approved work plan or any other work assigned bythe supervisor6. Participate in internal and external meetings, workshops, conferences as desired fromtime to time7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with international team8. Ability to work individually as well as in a team

Qualification

Ph.D in any area of science with specialization innanotechnology/biotechnology/biochemistry/biophysics/industrialbiotechnology/chemistry from a recognized University with excellent academic record2. Working and hands on knowledge in the desired areas/techniques

Candidates with the above skillsets are mandatory wherever mentioned. Industrial knowledge orwork experience with international team would be preferred.
