Associate Fellow


Job Profile

1. Plan activities of ongoing project(s) and contribute to research against approved work plan

2. Collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data (both primary and secondary)

3. Writing project proposals, RFPs, submitting EoIs, Networking, etc.

4. Writing and preparing project reports, conducting literature review and other deliverables as per projects timelines

5. Designing methodology, sampling and structuring of thematic and case study data collection

6. Validation of field data and aggregation for thematic compilation

7.Developing analytical efficiency on agronomic and economic variables

8. Writing and participating in publications (scientific papers, policy briefs, opinion pieces, etc.)

9. Comfortable to travel for project related activities


Experience

5 - 8 Years


Qualification

Master-s degree or higher in Agriculture/ Economics/Statistics/Natural Resources Management/geographical sciences or related fields


Skills

Understanding about climate change and allied concepts- forest and environment polices- watershed management- agroforestry/trees outside forests- landscape restoration- desertification- ecosystem services- biodiversity assessment- and allied areas.

Microsoft Office Suite (Word- Excel- PowerPoint- etc.)- Email communication skills.

Knowledge of statistical packages- GIS/RS and other tools will be added advantage.
