Job Profile

1. Plan activities of ongoing project(s) and contribute to research against approved work plan

2. Work with team to make sure project is on track

3. Collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data (both primary and secondary)

4. Writing project proposals, RFPs, submitting EoIs, Project Origination, Networking, etc.

5. Writing and preparing project reports, conducting literature review and other deliverables as per projects timelines

6. Organizing/participate in internal and external meetings, workshops, conferences, and other dissemination activities

7. Writing and participating in publications (scientific papers, policy briefs, opinion pieces, etc.)

8. Comfortable to travel for project related activities

9. Attend Meetings and Liaison with Government Departments as required or as per projects

10. Mentor and guide young professionals


Experience

10 - 15 Years


Qualification

Master-s degree in Social Sciences/Agriculture/Environmental Economics/ Natural Resources- Geo sciences and Allied fields/Rural Development

PhD in similar subject domains will be preferred


Skills

A work experience in process monitoring (quantitative and qualitative)/IEs/HH surveys- proposal building and execution- networking and coordination- analytical skills with excellent team leadership- reporting and communication skills.

Writing and speaking proficiency in writing and speaking of Kannada language is essential

Designing tools and techniques for especially MELD projects.

Knowledge of statistical packages- GIS/RS and other tools will be added advantage.
