Neha is a multi-disciplinary researcher, working on climate policy including issues such as equity, mitigation, NAMAs, MRV, NDCs, transparency, climate finance and market based approaches, where she focuses on bringing developing country perspective in range of global governance issues. She also focuses on the implications of the new international climate regime on India, its domestic policies and development process. She has led many projects with a focus on international and domestic climate policy. She is the series editor of a quarterly publication Mitigation Talks- a platform to publish developing country perspective on mitigation actions. She is now convening the activities of the Centre for Global Environment Research. Prior to joining TERI, she was working with Emergent Ventures India Pvt. Ltd as consultant in its carbon advisory business working on Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), strategic business advisory on corporate social responsibility and carbon neutrality. She has a management master's degree from Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal (India). She was selected for the Chevening Fellowship to attend the Chevening Gurukul Fellowship for Leadership and Excellence at King’s College London from September 2015 till December 2015.
