Bigsna Gill is a multi-disciplinary researcher and project manager working on energy access and associated areas of research, key among which are, understanding the co-relation between electricity pricing and the willingness to pay for electricity in India, analysing the linkages between energy and gender from an empowerment perspective, and evaluating India's evolving energy access status to develop insights on gaps and opportunities in the electricity and clean cooking realm. Bigsna also led branding, outreach and documentation of interventions and projects under the Lighting a Billion Lives campaign, TERI's flagship energy access initiative.

A management post graduate from the Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal, Bigsna has 10 years of diversified professional experience in the Banking, Development and Communication sectors. She is an incurable bibliophile, loves travelling and enjoys creative pursuits like photography and DIY projects.
